Local Society Notes Highlight Christmas Plans and Birthdays
The Helles of Boone held a November 29 meeting to elect a president and discuss sending girls to the country chores and making wing names for Christmas with Maurine Nissen presiding. A lunch was served and Faith Kelling reported. The Literary Guild met at Mrs Ralph White’s home with Mrs Gerhard Nerem leading and a lunch served. Mrs Anns Guggisburg and Mrs B M Packard hosted a birthday party at Mrs Guggisburgs home with guests receiving gifts. A group gathered at Mrs ite’s home for a party with band and gifts in her honor. Rebekah Lodge plans a Christmas party December 6 at the Legion Hall.
