Obituary of George Brilt from Humboldt County Iowa

George Brilt died at Camp Hospital East Leigh England on Saturday October 31 1918 after a short illness. Born May 28 1890 in Humboldt County near Renwick Iowa he was 28 years 4 months and 7 days old. He lived around Renwick before enlisting and spent time in Kamas Switzerland Wisconsin and Fore Daige Iowa. He attended Renwick Public School and Chicago Cal National Trade School. He worked at Keystone Harshure Store as a plumber and repair man for six years and was noted for faithful work and readiness to help. He joined the Evangelical Church in 2005 and later became active in the Baptist Church teaching Sunday school and singing in the choir. He served as Quartermaster in the Navy and was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Station before his death.
