A violent tornado struck Great Bend and Hartford in Nebraska and neighboring states on November 10, killing twelve, injuring about 100, and causing extensive property damage. Tossed Twice by Bull in Berwick Rescue

R O Shaffer twenty six of Zenith nearly died when a bull tossed him to the rafters then struck the ground again while being led to a trough. His father dragged the animal by its rope securing it to a pole as the bull charged him. The son suffered two broken ribs and other injuries.
