Council Proceedings and City Drainage Discussion
Council met Friday evening with all members present except Southwick. A drainage plan was discussed and a commissioner chosen to consult an attorney on compelling a drain from sloughs inside the city limits. Bills for mower repair, marshal’s six months pay, and street work were approved. Meeting adjourned to Nov. 16. Also includes a lengthy newspaper subscription promo and pricing for The Capital.
