Standard Bearers Host Potluck and Bake Sale Drive
The Standard Bearers met on Monday with leader Mrs. Ornest Helmke present. Joanne Jane led the devotion and Beaish Yanvey presented the lesson. A bake sale proceeds will go to the Baird Uniform Fund. The SCS Bridge Club met on the first Thursday afternoon at Mrs. A H Stafford’s home. A dessert bench was served at 1 30 followed by three tables of bridge. High score prize went to Mrs. AH Goetingh. second prize to Mrs. Hart Gimet Jow. draw prize to Mrs. Rasmussen. Guests included Mrs. Terry Mitchell and Mrs. William Nissen.

The motion to approve all bills as read by the finance committee passed. An application for a cigarette license by Jeanette Darland was read and approved.
