Miss Marilon Van Nimwegen, a first grade teacher, was honored at a pre wedding shower in Rome hosted by Mrs. Rasmussen, Mrs. Dale Cole, Mrs. Lloyd Jensen, and Mrs. Norman Larson. Guests included Renwick mothers and teachers, with out of town visitors from Eagle Grove and Port Dodge. A scrapbook was made, contests held, gifts given, and a lunch served.
