Society Highlights From Local Gatherings And Birthdays
Mrs T W Gimer hosted the Evening Bridge Club with Mrs Robert Van Houten winning high score and Robert Johnson low. Miss Esther Bertelsen spoke at the Methodist W S C S on Women At Work with Mrs C M Gillespie leading devotions. A nine lady surprise birthday was held for Mrs Alfred Martin. Miss Lena Geigel’s birthday were noted by Mrs James Kelling and Mary Hall hosted a skating party for girls. The Vernon 4 H Club met with Rae An French on April 1951. minutes record a 1.02 bill, grooming contests planned for May 31, and a demonstration fair with relay events. The next meeting is set for May 1 at Murray’s at 1 30.
