Local residents host weekend gatherings across area

County Line Me and Mrs C Cole of Haver fork were weekend guests of the Dale Cole home. Mr and Mrs Maurice Nissen and others visited, with Sunday dinner at the Wim Nissen home. They later went to Fort Dodge to see a relative in hospital. Renwick friends learn John C G Freerkson of Kanawha is much improved. Local families, including Kiley and Dash, hosted and visited Sunday at several homes.

A baby daughter was born last Thursday March 22 to Mr and Mrs Guy Batford. Mrs John Swanson was called to Fort Dodge Saturday by the time of her mother. Fred DeMooy accompanied a car fond of livestock to the Chicago market last Saturday. Mr and Mrs Frank Trowbridge of Kanawha visited at the home of Mr and Mrs Oscar Engstrom. Mr and Mrs G Griebel were Fort Dodge visitors last Thursday. Miss Edna Yanney of Webster County is spending the week at the Maine Yanney home. Mrs Katherine Markman and sons on Gene Potter were Fort Dodge visitors last Friday. A baby boy was born Tuesday March 20 to Mr and Mrs Lloyd Watkins.
