Hedrick Declared Insane After Accident

William Hedrick 39 of LaVerne was found violently insane by the insane commission and sent to Cherokee. He has been a patient at Kossuth hospital after being struck by a auto, suffering a broken leg and fractured skull. He is married with four children. His brother Sam died in an auto wreck near Milwaukee tracks and Tom Wagoner, Algona barber, was killed in the same crash.

Birthday Party At Renwick School Brightens Week

Dewitt Mimbach celebrated a birthday on Friday March 1st with animal cookies mostly Easter rabbits. Students enjoyed the party and a weeklong vacation followed. Visitors Mrs Bert i Martin Lala Mimbach and Pauline Klassie joined earlier. Pewitt brought pussy willows. poems about pussy willows were read. Martin Klassie wrote about a kitten named Tabby and a kitten named Mutty. Vivian and Lurus Rockwood returned from the State University at Town City for an Eastern visit.
