Eagle Grove Theatre Case Sent To Supreme Court
In Clarion district court jurors found Eagle Grove theatre guilty of Sunday operation under an ordinance. Judge Jingelry instructed verdict for the city if December 7th fell on a Sunday. Three witnesses testified the theatre was open Sunday. The verdict followed a five hour deliberation and will be appealed. The theatre and staff faced fines under the candy game provisions.
