The KYN Chub held a picnic at Hewitt Park in Eagle Grove with attendees including Mrs Robert Heidel and Robert Johnson. A baby shower for Mrs Martin Anderson featured pink and blue skewers and gifts. Rebekah Lodge plans a July 7 meeting at Campvet Hall with officer installations and refreshments at Peoples Gate hosted by Mrs BLM Packard and Mrs Samson Flegstad. 4-H clubs met at Mardelle Larson’s home with talks on meat cuts and prices and brownies. Next meetings set for July 1 and additional demonstrations on sponge cake and odds and ends.

WSCS Guest Day at Methodist Church Ends With Lunch
The Woman’s Society of Christian Service held its annual guest day at the Methodist church on Wednesday September 29. A program featured Welcome Warship Custer vocal and readings by Mrs Calla Tanck Mrs G E O and others. Flower arrangements were demonstrated by Mrs Alfred Marcina. Bostesses organized the event and a luncheon followed, hosted by De Jonia and her mother with aid from guests.
