Renwick to Buy Electrical Energy from Iowa Public Service
The Incorporated Town of Renwick Iowa and Iowa Public Service Company reach a proposed agreement for energy supply from a 33 000 volt transmission line parallel to State Highway 3. The town will install sub stations and a 13 200 volt transmission line to connect and deliver power to Renwick with a rent of 33 dollars per month for transformer use. The deal includes a per capita capacity charge and an energy charge with fuel clause adjustments tied to No 1 and No 2 basis costs.
