Society holds all day meeting and anniversary party notes
An all day society meeting was held last Friday at the home of Max ine DeMars with morning project work and a noon picnic at Renwick park. Leaders Mrs Walter Attig and Mrs Wayne Doo little presided as members and four visitors attended. Mr and Mrs Britt celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday June 21 1947 at the Britt home with a party hosting relatives. A Sunday gathering at the Britt home followed with well filled baskets and a gift for the couple. A surprise party honored Mr and Mrs Fred Kraft at their home with 500 tables and prizes awarded. Community groups including St Pauls Luther League and the Masonic building events are listed with plans and participants.
