Mrs John Huntley and her husband hosted a Sunday dinner for their daughter Sandra on her second birthday. About twenty guests attended Actray lunch at the Hood Swanson home in honor of Mrs. John Swanson's birthday. A bridal shower for Marianna Aust was held in Story Leake with attendees from here and a June 7 wedding at Storm Lake. A surprise fifth wedding anniversary was celebrated at the Robert Heide home with friends and relatives present. Fortnightly and Renwick Woman's Club meetings were announced, featuring lessons and plant exchange. A miscellaneous shower honored Miss Gladys Nelson ahead of her June 17 marriage. Expanded Summer Swim Program Planned at Renwick Pool
Eagle Grove pool manager outlines larger scale summer swimming lessons funded by Humboldt County Red Cross with Renwick School board support. Transportation by school buses from Boone Liberty Vernon and Lake townships will run Thursdays for six weeks starting June 23, with buses departing Renwick at 9 00 am and pool by 9 45 am. Season tickets cost 3 00 for under 12 and 34 30 for older. individual tickets 25c and 40c. Enrollment cards available at the Times Office. parents must sign and return.
