Obituary: John Holek of Jeffers Passes Quietly at 66

John Holek known as Johny Henry Holek, born in Weaverburon Germany, died May 21 at home in Jeffers after a heart attack. He married Eman Vanek in 1891 and left ten children, with deep community ties and service on the Ambay Towns board and Jeffers Cooperative Creamery board. He is survived by his wife, children, two sisters, five brothers, and many relatives, with funeral held at the Methodist church.
