In the Vernon 4H cabinet meeting July 23 with the president absent Myrna Birnbaum was chosen to conduct the session. Achievement Day judges were selected and the date moved to August 1 at Vernon School. Linda Engstrom spoke on laundering lingerie Judy Skill er demonstrated pocket making.

French Reunion Held At School Grounds
The biennial Presch family reunion took place Sunday July 25 at the school grounds. Movie pictures of past watchings were shown in the forenoon followed by a noon picnic. Klasse Family Reunion Brings Attendees From Across Iowa
The Klasse reunion gathered relatives Sunday in Arnolds Park with participants from Marshalltown Moulton Ames Sioux City St Paul and Renwick. Orville Klasse was reelected president Violet Klasse secretary treasurer and plans for the next reunion in Storm Lake July 17 1955 were announced. Also noted were Oppedahl and Latch post nuptial shower events with out of town guests as part of the activities.

Miss Enid Miller of Epworth attended a decorated table event with snapdragons baby's breath and candies. Rebekah Lodge will meet at the Am Vets Hall on Thursday August 5 at one. Mrs Raymond Paine hosted St Paul Lutheran Ladies Aid coffee party with 23 attendees last Tuesday.
