Governor Hammill Visits Renwick On Highway 60 Issue
Governor Hammill and party halted in Renwick to gauge community support for extending Highway No. 60 along the county line. Local residents and Corwith supporters listened as the governor met with townsfolk, shaking hands but offering little on road specifics. He appeared to form ideas but did not deliver a firm plan, leaving the decision to Renwick and neighboring areas. The key question remains whether the road goes straight north or jogs east into Corwith.
