Lisa Turner celebrated her first birthday with family in Humboldt. The event marked her turning one on July 8, with relatives including Phil Heft helping as guests and a note of joy from the granddaughter’s milestone.
Supper guests Sunday at the John Pogge home included Mr and Mrs Chris Pogge, Jack and Jean Pogge, Mr and Mrs John Pogge Jr, John Mark Pogge, Janice Pogge, Mr and Mrs Henry Pogge, Douglas Pogge, David Pogge, Mr and Mrs Kenneth Pogge, Lori Pogge, and Kathy Pogge. The birthdays of Chris Pogge, Mrs John Pogge Jr, and David Pogge were observed.

William Leerar and daughter explored Crystal Lake. Brayton Tammie and Mark from Grundy Center came Thursday through Sunday with Daryl joining for dinner. Floyd Lane and Ray Block attended the Harrison Anderson wedding in Webster City. Fred Bolte and daughter from Ankeny visited Sunday. Tom Gimer hosted visitors including Dick Gimer and daughter from Des Moines for the weekend and Webster City wedding attendance. Melville Wilson of Humboldt visited Martin Kleve Sunday.
