Society Notes From Local Bridge and Card Parties
The S OS Bridge Club met at Mrs George Latchasts home Thursday afternoon with a 3:30 dessert luncheon and three tables of bridge. High score prize went to Mrs Had Gimer and draws to Mrs N R Yarbroughlow, Mrs Keith Hall, and Mrs S C Maurer. Five Hundred party hosted by Mr and Mrs Virgil Encins last Wednesday with three tables. High score prize to Mr and Mrs Gillespie, draw prize to Mr and Mrs Ernest Media, and low score prize to Mrs Fred Kraft. Overbangh hosted Miss Mae Morton’s birthday dinner with O Forton and Chas Overbangh and EB Hundley present. Junior Mission Band of the Baptist Church meets Thursday after school at Mrs Wilbur Nissen’s home. Nine ladies gathered at the home of S Ralph White for a furthdar party in her honor.
