Locals Update From Des Moines To Livermere Events

Dr Turner and Mr Vern Lindstrom traveled to Des Moines on Monday while G G Christopher and Mr C A Packard made trips to Algona and Thor. Miss Clara Johnson returns to Livermere, Mrs Barqest visits Titouka, and Mrs Wallace visits Fort Dodge. A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Oliver Chapman on Tuesday February 15. A Home Talent Play is set for Saturday night at the Handy Opera House and twenty high school pupils surprised Guy Rier at his home Friday evening. Yesterday Miss Myla Nicholson of Oldfield wed Everett Nelson. Congratulations to the couple.

Special to the Times reports Paul Blumer spent Sunday with his parents. The cemetery association met with Mrs Legler, adding four new members. FP 1 Chapman serves on the grand jury this week. The Presbyterian Ladies met with Mrs Haskell Wednesday. The Rebecca Lodge initiated three new members Tuesday night with light refreshments. Ed Glasie was in town Monday. F L Stoddard was here from Humboldt Tuesday.
