We have passed the halfway mark of the year and with Leicester tests learned our progress. Now we renew our efforts to improve. In science we found the unit of electricity very interesting. Through a transformer and a bell we learned the meaning of such terms.
The Algebra 1 class is finishing Chapter 9 on polynomials and graphs. The next chapter will cover graphs and charts with future work on fractions radicals and fractional equations.
A physics class concludes its unit on work, power, energy, and machines. Students explore unit values, analyze machines, and calculate ideal and actual mechanical advantages for simple and compound devices.
The den opened with lunch brought by Doug, named 54 as an anniversary, and planned a Blue and Gold Banquet for February 24. The group started work on a centerpiece with Mark Waukon serving as denner.
Card of thanks expresses gratitude for messages cars and gifts received at hospital and home. Emil Blumer and Kremme visited Merlin Neubergers. they returned from Texas where they winter. The Blumers mourn the death of Mr Blumer’s father.
Lake Lutheran Church members Mr and Mrs Donovan Dordal visited Sunday afternoon at Martin Kleve's home as part of the year end congregation notes.
