Junior Feeder Pequot 1964 4-H start aided by bank

The Junior Feeder Project for 4-H members in 1964 begins with support from First National Bank of Humboldt. Four members have bought feeder calves: Phil Nelson Norway Vi Kings 4H, John Ann ing West Weaver Willing Workers, Steve Lane Vernon Boosters, and Dan Rundle Vernon Boosters. Eligible members must be 12 by Jan 1 1964. pens of 3 4 or 5 animals may be shown and weighed by Jan 1 1964.

Bells of Boone 4H club holds Christmas meeting

The Bells of Boone 4H club met at Marilyn Espe's house with Janice Henriksen presiding. Bible story and Christmas poems were shared, reports approved, gifts exchanged, and lunch served. Officers were installed including Gloria Yanney as president and Marilyn Espe as vice president. Colleen Sander reported.

Den 3 and Den 4 Boy Scout Meeting Notes

Den 3 opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and lunch then read a story and made gifts for dads for Christmas Ross Nelson Denner. Den 4 met at Leland Swans home on Monday Dec 16 paying dues roll call and planning Christmas gifts then sang carols and finished centerpieces for parents Keith Torsdahl received a Bear Hook birthday. Mrs Torsdahl’s last meeting as den mother thanked for service and Mrs Swan gave grace before lunch.
