The Renwick Woman's Club held its Christmas meeting with Mrs Merlin Neuberger hosting. The program featured carols, poems, a contest, piano duets by Marolee Neuberger and Mrs Bygness, and three piano solos by Marolee. A gift exchange and donations for Cherokee Mental Health Institute were noted, followed by a Christmas luncheon. Various local residents attended events and visits around town. Santa's final appearance and last week’s winners were teased in a page ad with ticket drawings continuing through Saturday.

Annual Christmas Concert At Boone Valley High
Boone Valley High School vocal and instrumental departments present their annual Christmas concert at 7 30 p m Monday December 22 in the high school auditorium. Selections include the Messiah overture Adeste Fideles Winter Wonderland Sleigh Ride and various carols. The public is invited to attend. The American Legion Auxiliary held its regular meeting and Christmas party at the Legion Hall on December 11. A $5 TB seat donation was reported and December 15 was set to fill Christmas sacks for the Commercial club. 25 chimneys were made and filled for Woodward children. A white elephant gift exchange closed the gathering.
