The sixth grade pupils are busy finishing 200 favors for Woodward. They trim stockings with cotton tops and green ribbons, plus a sucker on each. They review English topics like subjects and predicates and start verbs. They study Russia in geography with newspapers for context and pictures of leaders.
A sixth grade visit by Mrs. Fred Hansen brought treats for Fred Hansen as the class decorates and a Santa Claus crest hangs by the fireplace. Despite bad weather, pupils appreciated the thoughtful gesture and thanked her for the treats.
Freshman Home Ec units one and three hosted luncheons on December 2 at two o clock with guests Dr Sutton and Mrs Baessler. Menus featured Fruit Cocktail, Ham Salad Sandwiches, Jello Salad, Ice Cream Pie, and more as students planned meals, timed schedules, and invitations. Unit two followed December 6 with Donaldene Kraft as guest and dishes like Hamburger Pie and Mille.

Me and Mrs Carroll Block of Thomson were weekend visitors at the Claus Block home. Mr and Mrs G L Dooley and Jerry were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs Anne Potter and Carol.
