Suppressed prize winning detective story never published
A decades old tale tells of a best detective story prize won by a collaboration including BLRB Bourlou and a fellow crafterginl from a northern newspaper. Despite prize money and portraits published, the winning tale was withheld due to fears it would enable bank robbery methods, with a signed pledge never to publish elsewhere. The episode remains an inside history unlikely to be resolved.

Vesuvivia eruptions boost local fertility claims
A fragment from a 19th century style note references Vesuvivia eruptions increasing soil fertility nearby. The odd text also mentions English Cigars and a jokey remark about prices, suggesting a miscellaneous page item.
