Regular Lywn Council session opened with Mayor Jilmer presiding. Members Babler Latch Long and Schipull present. Reports approved and bills sanctioned by the finance committee. Adjourned with notices of Fort Dodge and St. Maries visitors and a death in Idaho.

Frances Packard Severide Dead at Parental Home Near Britt

Frances Packard Severide died Saturday at her parents home near Britt Iowa aged 22. She was born November 18 1916 Renwick Iowa and moved to Ames with her family at age 13. She married Ward J Severide July 1 1922 in Princeton Missouri and they had a daughter Phyllis Marie born November 25 1938. Burial followed at Winwood cemetery with funeral at the Baptist church in Renwick conducted by Rev Gungsei. Her ashen family includes her husband two brothers Charles M and Harry H and three sisters J E Janes Ben Asche and Byron Virtue.

Otte Trummel Passes Away After Ill Health

Otte Trummel, past eighty five and longtime Renwick area resident, died Sunday morning at his home after a period of illness. Survived by his wife and five children A W Trummel Frank Trummel Oscar Trummel and two daughters, Mrs. George Wygerth and Mrs. Henry Schulita. Funeral services set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at the home with R. E. Cook officiating. A former prairie farmer, the Trummels lived on a farm northwest of Renwick before moving to town a decade ago.

Prank French In Auto Wreck Ends in Fatality

Frank Wrench on the way to Marshall for a wrestling match drove into a ditch east of Goldfield to avoid a collision. The other car, pushed off the pavement, caused four injuries including George Jasperson fatally, Floyd Woolruit seriously, and Robert Gott and Joseph Simon lightly. French escaped injury and proceeded to Marshall, later absolved of negligence by Stele and Wright county officials.

They plan brief trip and will reside in Creston Iowa after December 15.

Bazaar and Supper at Masonic Hall Next Saturday

Methodist ladies announce annual hasan and supper at I.O.O.F. hall on Saturday December 9. Serving begins 5 80 a.m. each plate 25 cents. Menu includes chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, baked beans, cabbage salad, pies, jelly, pumpkin pie and whipped cream, bread, butter and coffee. Public invited.

Farm Adjustment News Digest on Corn Loans and Sealing Fees

The Des Moines meeting announced corn loans available to farmers with forms mailed from Washington. Local warehousing boards arrange appraisals and issue certificates used as loan security from banks. Loans bear 4 percent interest, note due August 1, 1934, with March 1, 1924 acceptance deadline. Sealing fees for corn in Humboldt and Wright counties range from 1.3 to 3.5 dollars per crib, paid by the caller at sealing time. Sealer assignments include John Heftl Renwick Humboldt.
