Mr and Mrs Callen Stang buried children of dittner gues Sunday at the Howard Hansen home in Eagle Grove. Visitors Sunday afternoon included Mr and Mrs BJ Wilkin Yon and Jayne of Kanawha. Mr and Mrs Leland Swan and family were Sunday visitors at the Maunlee Swan home in Britt. In the afternoon Mr and Mrs Swan called on Mrs Walter Hefti a patient in Britt hospital. Mr and Mrs WH Pannell were guests Sunday of Mrs Emma Pannell and Richard in Ringsted. Adrian Verbrugge of Armstrong spent a week in Maurice Nissen home. On Thanksgiving day Mr and Mrs Nissen and Jon and their guest were with Mrs Marie Nissen and Mr Maude Freertsen at Shady Nook cafe in Goldfield and they had supper in the Nissen home.
Heth Martin daughter of Mr and Mrs Merle Martin was kept for observation at Merry Hospital in Fort Dodge from Tuesday to Friday. Ray Ittek was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge Thursday afternoon and underwent surgery Thursday night.
Mr and Mrs Marvin Pear ton are the proud parents of a baby boy born Monday at Belmond Community Hospital. Douglas Lest weighs 6 pounds and 13 ounces. Grandparents are Mr and Mrs Enfred Pearson and Mr and Mrs Fred Guglsburg.
Sunday School begins at 9 00 am with services led by Rev McDenslé in Hanty Iowa. The WSCS Christmas party is planned for Wednesday evening December 12 at Hardy.

Rev Laurice Streytteler Church School announces events including a Children's Christmas program practice at 1 30 pm on Tuesday December 11 catechism class at 4 pm Thursday December 13 and choir practice at 7 30 pm Saturday December 8 and 9 30 am services with a 30 50 am listing.
Renwick Methodist Church lists Sunday School at 9 45 a m Worship at 11 am and 6 40 pm followed by a pot luck supper on Monday December 10 Goodwill truck in Renwick and an official boat event at the church on Thursday evening December 13.
Renwick Iowa Baptist church holds 10 a m worship led by Pastor Rev Glenn Emmert with evening fellowship and jam session at 8:30 p m.

A flurry of visits fills holiday week with extended family from Hardy Corwith Britton Forest City and Ames. Guests include the Johnsons Krafts Meyers and Schneiders with kin in Corwith Waverly Humboldt and Clarion area.
The Renwick Commercial Club sponsors a Christmas drawing with ten turkeys as prizes. Last Saturday ten winners were announced. Stan McCurry raised funds for children and plans to pack about 300 sacks for Santa to meet Renwick kids on Saturday December 22.
The Christeas program will be held Tuesday afternoon December 11 at 1 45 in the Vernon building. Kindergarten through sixth grade will perform songs and pieces, with multiple classes and named students contributing in the program. A separate note mentions vaccine clinics and community notices within the same report.
