Officials approved payments totaling 385.00 and 1116.50 for utilities, repairs, and services. authorized a class C beer permit for Will's Market. and accepted library board reappoint ments for Mrs Block and Mrs Jensen with term expiring July 11 1980.

Weekend visitors brighten Moris area homes
Worth Moris of Masses Minnesota hosted Thursday visitors Julia and Burnette Heggen of Washington DC. Walker and daughter of Nebrake City were weekend guests. Roseberry and Tuesday visitors paused at Paull. Bertha Callen and Stansbury welcomed guests at Heggen home for the weekend.
Weekend visitors gather in area homes
Mr and Mrs Floyd Swan returned Thursday from a four day visit in Boulder Colorado. Arminta Huntley accompanied them to Renwick. Mr and Mrs Rex Schoonover of Guthrie Center were weekend guests in the Swans home. Fred A Engstrom attended Leonard Meyers ordination in Corwith. Guests at Frank French home included Dave Lundberg Minneapolis and Jack Adams Ver million South Dakota where Adams earned an MA. Alfred Price Stilson and Carl Kelling visited Monday. Royal Neighbors Lodge met with May White in Clarence Hippen home. Maquoketa residents were weekend guests in Alfred Kleen home and Jim Kleen family of Denison visited the Kleen home for Diana Haverly’s first birthday. Donald Ci and daughters visited I Henriksen home Sunday evening.
