Local families and friends share visits and dinners across the region. Names include Tootle Lane Kleen Johnston Kraft Lubbert Nelson Martin Nerem Yanney Stoops Gillespie Clowes Hunt and others visiting homes in Circleville Eagle Grove Goldfield Rothwell City and nearby communities over a recent weekend.
A family visited the Loren Schipull home in Goldfield Iowa while Lawrence Nerem and Vickie stayed at the Willard Zeigler home in Algona to assist with the new baby. Stanley Schipull and Mac Clowes traveled to Chicago with cattle. Maurice Nissen Marilyn Kay McGowan Glen Earl Martin and Don Hoffman attended a Grain Dealers Coop Rural Youth meeting in Ames, staying several days for classes and events and were honored at a banquet where Marilyn participated in the program.
Added Locals Mr and Mrs Clarence Larson of Dows called at Norman's home Saturday. Mr and Mrs L J Shaw and family of Cadet Rapids and Mr and Mrs Dick Meyers and family of Fort Dodge were supper guests Thursday at the Gi Dooley home. Mr and Mrs Fred Kraft and family of Eagle Grove, Mr and Mrs George Schnetzer and family of LaVerne and Mrs and Mrs Walter Kraft and family visited Thursday night at Elmer Schnetzer's. Mr and Mrs C M Gillespie and Judy were dinner guests Wednesday at Hr Kepper's. Mrs Henry Kraft visited Friday at Vernon White's in Mallard. Mr and Mrs Pete Kraft and family.
Eagle Grove hosts and visitors from Cladbrook Memphis Detroity and Belmond filled weekend gatherings. Families from Livermore Humboldt and Algona joined dinners and home visits. Local residents attended events in Ames and Pocahontas.
