A Sunday dinner at Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nelson honored Urwin Friday with family and friends including Friday, Zimmermans, Doris Staim of Eldora, and others. The BTW club met at Marvin Nelsons with a Bo airplane topic and lunch. Vigorous Vernon 4 H Club met with talks and demonstrations and planned July meetings plus an August 6th Achievement Day. A birthday gathering for Jesnatte Darlang featured lunch and gifts. The Baptist Mission Circle meets Friday at the church with Mrs. George Hoffman leading and Mrs. Willbar Nissen and Mrs. W. P. Matoon as hostesses.

O P Morton of Clarion celebrated a birthday with family guests. St Paul’s Ladies Aid annual guest day featured a program including scripture, music, poems, and prayers. Bees of Boone 4-H held July meeting with plans for Achievement Day and fair list review.
