Mrs. Mary Abrenkiel Bonwell Dies in Renwick at 44
Mary Abrenkiel Bonwell of Renwick died April 26 1936 at age 44 after years of illness. She married Harry Bonwell in 1914, lived in Goodell and Klemme before moving to Renwick in 1917, and was active in the Evangelical church and Royal Neighbors. Funeral at Evangelical church followed by burial at Goodell. she leaves husband Harry and two sons, Duane and Alan, plus her mother Mrs George Ahrenkiel and brother Anton Ahrenkiel.

Curtis Rockwood came home from Iowa City for the weekend. Mrs Dave Crawford and daughter from Estherville visited the Lee Norder home. Mr and Mrs A D Gimner and daughter Thelma visited Wellsburg and Abbott. The office displays a European starling carcass inviting exhibition at schools or farmer gatherings. Doris Bram, a nurse in training, is home from Lutheran hospital Des Moines for three weeks of vacation and awaits state board exam to become a registered nurse.

Funeral Thursday in Goldfield Presbyterian Church with Rev. McCracken and Rev. Sohl assisting. Interment LaVerne cemetery. Relatives and friends from many towns attended.
