Renwick Times in Renwick, Iowa

Local notes and scattered items from a rural paper

A garbled collection of brief notices covers small town life in various locales. Topics include border border duties, a smallpox report, a park incident, a telephone exchange claim, local advertising by business men, theft and crime mentions, real estate activity near Belmond, and political commentary on tariffs and trade policy. The mix reflects a late nineteenth or early twentieth century rural press breakfast of items, names, places, and events with limited coherence.
