Renwick Women's Club and Society Notes
Society notes from Renwick record a series of Thursday and Sunday gatherings. Mrs. Jim Howard of Marshalltown attended the Renwick Women’s Club meeting. Mrs. A Packard and Mrs. Ralph Anderson led the lesson. meals were served. The Literary Guild convenes at Mrs. T. W. Gimer’s home with Mrs. Gay Nerem in charge of the program and Mrs. Stanley McCurry leading devotions. The Methodist church group held an evening entertainment and refreshments with Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Roseberry and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Peer in charge. Other clubs met at various homes and church halls, exchanging greetings, sharing music, assessments, and meals. clothing donations to a Childress Orphans Home were collected and delivered. The King’s Heralds of the Methodist church gathered after school at the church. Mrs. George Latchn urse led, with Mrs. Gerald Nelson hosting and serving a delicious supper. The Pinochle Club played at the Swanson home with three tables. Mrs. Carroll Packard and Stanley McCurry won high scores, Clarence Eywin low. A birthday dinner honor to a long-time member was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Reith fall, with attendance from the McCurrys and Cartens and others.

The Fortnightly Club meets this afternoon at Mrs M B Richardson's home with Mrs RM Goetigeh leading. The T N T 4 H Club plans an all day Saturday meeting at the home of leader Mrs Wayne Dochittle followed by a pot luck dinner at noon.
