Kings Heralds Host Easter Breakfast at Methodist Church

The Kings Heralds held an Easter morning gathering at the Methodist church with Nancy Latchane and Bruce McGowan as hosts. Rev Nelson led devotions and Rev Custer spoke on Easter's meaning. Mrs L W Heetland explained the sacrificial offering. Youth Fellowship meets Sunday at 8 p.m. KOON Clap club meets Thursday at Mrs Robert Heide's home. Baptist Mission Circle gathers Friday at Mrs Fred Engstrong's home with Mrs Engstrong as devotional leader. Fortnightly Club meets this afternoon at Mrs John Zimmerman’s home with lesson by R E McGowan.

Luther League Breakfast and youth group gatherings

The Luther League of St Paul’s Lutheran Church held an Easter breakfast at the Kraft home with about twenty attendees and a worship service. The Baptist Junior Missionary Workers hosted their annual Easter Breakfast at Ona Merie Engstrom’s home with hostesses Mrs Wilbur Nissen and Mrs Donald McGowan assisting. Cub Scouts met at Lawrence Nerem’s home with nine boys and a short program. Emma Henry Society of the United Presbyterian Church of Goldfield met at Mrs Duane Anderson’s home on April 6 with 22 members. a lunch followed. Mr and Mrs R R Blesie hosted a birthday dinner Sunday for granddaughter Sandra McKenna’s 11th birthday with many relatives in attendance. Woman’s Club next meets Thursday at Mrs Ralph Andersen’s home with devotions by Mrs C Packard and lesson by Miss Berthe Heygen.
