Science Club tour to Rochester Mayo Clinic and IBM Rochester
On October 18 the Science Club traveled by Jefferson Transportation to Rochester Minnesota. Members toured the Weather Bureau Flight Service Station Mayo Clinic and IBM Rochester facilities viewing exhibits including the Mayo Medical Museum and the Transparent Man. The trip ended with a film and the Alan Arkin movie The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. Lesli Rasmussen and 19 members attended with Valerie Larson reporting.
