The Town Department of Social Services says July payments to about 50 000 assistance recipients will arrive later than usual. Recipients may not receive them until July 8 or 6 due to 1969 70 money appropriation not deposited by the State Comptroller. Checks are normally processed and mailed on the first working day of each month.
