An enormous snow slide at Silver Canyon near Spring Valley Nev. buries a works complex, killing William Mickel, John Fox, Wallace McCrimmen. injuring Lank O’Brien and another man. William Watts, abused ship Gatherer crewman, convicted in San Francisco for beating and wounding Adling, with final sentence pending. Captain of the Gatherer also awaiting sentencing at San Quentin.
