Distillery Fire in Gibsonville destroys warehouses and whisky
In Gibsonville Pa on June 22 a fire destroyed the Gibson & Son distillery warehouses numbers 2 and 3 and 1 000 barrels of whisky. The blaze started when a lamp exploded injuring Wm H Neil who may die. The loss is about 50 000 with heavy insurance. A second explosion wounded many as fire crews worked to contain the flames.
