Washington June 6 brief funeral services planned for Senator George S Nixon of Nevada who died last night with President Taft likely attending. The body to be sent west at 6 p.m. and the Reno funeral Monday morning awaits a long procession from Cheyenne and Chicago.
Special to The Gazette from Washington D C June 6 1912 the senate announced the death of Senator George S Nixon after a surgical operation in Washington on June 5 at 10 p m A resolution was adopted for a fitting tribute and to bury the remains in Reno Nevada funeral services set for this afternoon at 4 o'clock funeral train will leave Washington at 6 this evening Mrs Nixon and her son notified Senator Newlands and others will accompany the remains
