Central Pacific Railroad Company sues for debt and foreclosure of land under a contract, seeking judgment for over 1,500 dollars plus interest, foreclosure of specified parcels, and possession of the lands. Defendants must answer within ten to forty days or face default, with the court to determine relief and costs. note the action is filed in Reno.
A Mansfield Ohio advertisement from November 28, 1881 claims Brown's Iron Bitters cures dyspepsia indigestion malaria weakness and lung and kidney issues. It features a testimonial from Joan K Altuhgs detailing relief from side pain backache and improved appetite after one and a half bottles. The copy promotes the product as a strong non alcoholic tonic with iron and cinchona.
An advertisement from 400 Geary Street San Francisco promotes Dr Liebic's Invigorator for seminal weakness nervous debility and general decline. It claims cures without mercury or noxious drugs, guarantees and a written $1000 for failure, and offers home delivery and confidential consultations for genito urinary and related diseases including prostatic issues and women's conditions.
The State of Nevada in Washoe County charges Jemima Jones against Ardeen Jonce in the Second Judicial District Court. The complaint alleges desertion since 1875 and failure to provide necessaries, seeking a divorce and restoration of plaintiff to her maiden name, with the defendant required to answer within set days or face default judgment.
The Seventh Judicial District Court Washoe County Nevada orders notice for a petition to sell real estate belonging to the estate of Sarah M. Drennan deceased. Defendants must answer within ten days of service. failure risks default judgment and sale of the property to satisfy the claim.
