Indians Executed for Murder of White Men in Northwest

Missoula county reports the execution of four Indian murderers Lala Lee Pierre Paul Antrey and Pascale at the courthouse. Each died quickly after the trap sprung their crimes include the killing of two white men near Wolf Creek and a prospectors murder near Demeraville. Bodies to be buried at St Ignatius Missouri.

Horrible execution and family scandal in 1883 case

In Snerprooke Quebec Sheriff Webb died of heart disease during the Remi La Montague execution. La Montagne was hanged at 9:26 after a July 1883 murder in which he killed his brother in law Napoléon Michel, burned the body, and involved his sister Leda in incest. Leda, later recaptured in Boston, was jailed after refusing to testify. the brother was convicted and hanged.

Paris December 19 Petit presents specimens of lymph he says are his own invention and claim they produce salts identical to those produced by Dr Kochs lymph in tubercular diseases, suggesting a rival to Kochs therapy.
