Two Women Indicted for Killing Man in Media

Media, Pa. December 10. Mrs Florence Erb and her sister Mrs Catherine Belger were indicted by the grand jury for the murder of Captain J. Clayton at his country home Red Gables on October 6. The half bond of Mrs Erb was allowed to stand for her appearance, but Mrs Beisel was sent back to prison.

Training School for Hotel Employes to Open in Indianapolis

A $200,000 hotel to be used as a training school for hotel employes will be established at the Winona Technical School. The International stewards association pledges funds. The school will provide accommodations for 400 students. A separate fire in St Louis destroyed the Lohz Patent Deer plant, with losses around $100,000.

Delirious patient leaps to death from third story window

A delirious patient, John Hanson, at Jefferson Park Hospital broke restraints and leapt from a third floor window to the pavement below. The act occurred in view of other patients today as authorities investigate the tragic scene.

New York December 11 J P Morgan returned from a record trip aboard a special train over the Lake Shore and New York Central lines. The 17 hour 1 minute run beat the Twentieth Century Limited by more than an hour with speeds from 60 to 67 miles per hour and locomotive changes, costing Chanlder about 100 dollars an hour.

Committee to Address Teddy's Criticism in Congress

Representative Perkins of New York introduced a resolution for a five member special committee to study how to respond to the president's remarks criticizing Congress for prohibiting secret service detail outside their bureau. Perkins argued the president's statements merit consideration as they affect Congress's witness and respect. A similar Senate resolution is expected to pass soon to recommend action on the president's assertions.
