Amanda Lofton’s search for her child ends in court
A San Francisco Post report recounts Amanda Lofton, 22, living in Oakland, who fled to reclaim her 3-year-old daughter after her husband abducted the child. Pursuing in Chicago and Cleveland, a chief of police aided, habeas corpus secured, and the child found at a corner grocery. Lofton returned home. the case settled, with no further action by the husband.
