Welfare charge against Hinton couple dismissed
Summers Circuit Judge Robert Irons dismissed a welfare fraud indictment against Jeffrey D. Fox and Caroline A. Fox of Hinton upon the state's motion. The pair were accused of receiving 4911 from DHHR between April 1994 and April 1996. Prosecutor Mike Turner said DHHR documents were missing and may pursue a civil action to recover the funds.

Murder suspect to undergo mental evaluation in death case
