Doctor reports mestinol helps chronic fatigue syndrome patients
Dr Hassan Amjad of Jafary Medical Clinics treated 15 Beckley area patients with mestinol, plus high zinc, reporting dramatic improvement in nine of ten. Patients kept journals. Mary Etta Hogan and Juanita White describe life returning to normal after months of fatigue, pain, and sleep problems. The study notes CFS is hard to diagnose, with variable symptoms and potential misdiagnosis by specialists. Amjad calls for larger centers to continue research to confirm efficacy.
