Summersville eyes review of towing dispatch policy
Summersville council considers reexamining how tow trucks are dispatched after Nettie Exxon owner complained officers use cellular phones at night to call wreckers. In Nicholas County the 911 center rotates among Nettie Exxon A&E J&J Body Shop and Highway 41. Mayor LeRose and Police Chief Moore deny personal involvement while Capt. Nowak cites urgent needs and past delays. The police and fire committee cited the county 911 system as the core issue and discussed changes in October.
