Fayette election slates spark grand jury questions
Fayette County investigators found no proof who drafted or circulated two opposing election slates after a primary. Prosecutor Paul Blake said there is no evidence identifying the creator or distributor, while Britton Elkins asserts the second slate is a fake and aims to derail efforts to locate the first author. Elkins plans to seek access to the report and may request a special grand jury.
