Miller had bitten Fayette County deputy Mark Webb in Oak Hill during a disturbance. Circuit Judge John Hatcher ordered two concurrent one year terms for battery and obstructing, with fines totaling 525 dollars, noting it was better for Miller to serve the sentence in one stretch. Webb testified Miller attacked him at Huff Street after responding to a 911 call. she kicked, ripped buttons from his shirt, tore a V neck shirt, scratched his chest and bit him. The court previously heard Miller had no duties until Oct 9 and had been discharged from her home health care job.
