Creditors back off Logan Hospital takeover
Creditors and lawyers delay actions in Logan General Hospital bankruptcy talks aiming to reorganize or sell the 132 bed facility. They may seek a trustee in January as hearings on receivership and a $1.4 million loan proceed, while the hospital reports $63.6 million in liabilities and $78.4 million in assets and 1996 patient revenues of $129.3 million.
