Duncan Sheik, 28, an American singer and songwriter, plays accordion, guitar, and keyboards. He started guitar at five, grew up in Hilton Head South Carolina, studied in Massachusetts, attended Brown University, and after 1992 moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. He had several bands before his solo career and his first hit "Barely Breathing" arrived in 1996.
